The Captains Lookout is a dog-friendly, three-bedroom, 2.5-bath townhome in Depoe Bay, Oregon, that sleeps up to six guests. Wake to ocean views, walk to the harbor and local restaurants, then return to a comfortable coast home with room to gather and room to spread out.

The king primary suite is upstairs, with broad water views, a sitting area, binoculars and a spotting scope for watching boats, wildlife, and seasonal gray whales. Its private bath includes a deep soaking tub for a quiet end to a full day on the coast.

The main level is the heart of the home. Cook together in a well-equipped kitchen with a gas range, dishwasher, breakfast bar, cookware, and dining space. Settle in beside the gas fireplace, use the Smart TV with your own streaming accounts, or step onto the deck for ocean air, sunsets, and dinner from the gas grill.

Downstairs, a queen bedroom and a full bedroom share a full bath with shower. The separate TV and gaming area gives kids, friends, or a second couple their own place to unwind.

Outside, enjoy deck seating and the included private six-person hot tub on the lower patio, with privacy curtains for a more relaxed soak.

Walk to Depoe Bay Harbor, restaurants, shops, the Whale Watching Center, and charter boats. The home is also a convenient base for nearby beaches and viewpoints, plus day trips to Newport, Lincoln City, and the Central Oregon Coast.

Strong Wi-Fi, a laptop-friendly workspace, Smart TVs, washer/dryer, beach chairs, and parking for up to three vehicles are included. Dogs are welcome with advance approval and an additional fee.

Please note: this is a three-level townhome with three steps at the entry. Bedrooms are above and below the main living level, and the main level has a half bath only. The home is not wheelchair accessible.

The Captains Lookout is professionally managed by Bill and Peggy of Pacific View Lodging. We live and work in the Depoe Bay area and prepare our homes for real stays, not just check-ins. You will receive clear arrival details, a clean and well-equipped home, and responsive local help when it is needed—while still having the privacy to enjoy your time on the coast.
